Al Shams Center & Theatre (Registered NPO 580693125) is committed to providing
an equal and accessible experience to all visitors of our website, including
people with disabilities. We work to make our website accessible in accordance
with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations
(Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, based
on WCAG 2.0/2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Accessibility adjustments made
As part of making the site accessible, we have implemented the following,
among others:
- An accessibility toolbar allowing text resizing, contrast adjustment, link
highlighting, and other display adjustments
- Full keyboard navigation support
- Defined site language (Hebrew, Arabic, and English)
- Clear heading structure and semantic markup across the site's pages
The site has been tested and supports common browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge,
Firefox) as well as mobile devices.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, such as third-party
content (e.g. embedded videos) that is not under our full control. We are
continuously working to improve the site's accessibility.
