What is the Culture Basket
Performances That Come to You. Impressions That Stay.
The National Culture Basket is a Ministry of Education program that gives every student in Israel, from kindergarten through 12th grade, systematic exposure to art and culture as part of the regular school day. Al Shams Theater and Center operates within this framework and offers two tracks: an artistic program featuring The Wolf and the Three Kids, and an additional artistic program featuring The Stage for Shared Life. Both tracks allow schools to book us directly — without bureaucracy, and with partial funding from the basket.
The Wolf and the Three Little Goats
An emotionally resonant show featuring four professional actors, designed for students in grades 1–3. The familiar story takes on a vivid and surprising form — and through it, students encounter real questions about love, boundaries, and the bond between parents and children. The show is approved in the National Culture Basket and Gefen program, and comes directly to the school with scenery, costumes and actors who won't leave any child unmoved.
