When a Council Wants to Change Reality — We Show Up
Al Shams Theater and Center works in collaboration with Arab and Druze local councils and offers comprehensive responses in four key areas: an educational welfare program for at-risk children and families, a prevention program to reduce school dropout, the Israeli Journey program to strengthen identity and belonging, and early childhood programs for kindergartens. Each program is built together with the council and tailored to community needs — because real change begins from knowing the ground.
Educational Welfare Program
A child dealing with emotional difficulty cannot learn. Al Shams Center works with the welfare departments of local councils and provides therapeutic support for at-risk children and families. Individual therapy, support groups, family accompaniment and parent workshops — all delivered by licensed and experienced therapists within the community, in its language and culture.
